Our
Association raises funds to offer social, cultural and recreational
activities and opportunities to people with special needs living on
disability pensions. Founded
in 2000 by a group of concerned family members and friends, the
Brighter Futures Association endeavors to provide life enhancing
opportunities to persons living on disability pension.
This vulnerable population often lives well below the poverty line unable to afford anything more than basic necessities of life. We offer recreational activities, social gatherings and funding for individual needs. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors in accordance with by laws of a charitable association. We have no paid staff or administrative costs. All funds are used to provide for those we serve.
HOW WE DO IT
Requests within our mandate mailed to our office are screened and considered for funding. HOW YOU CAN HELP ❂ We welcome volunteers interested in donating their time and/or talents.
