Our Mission, Expanded
➣To support education for the young and young at heart by providing access to the Internet in under-serviced schools
➣To support the teaching staff with instruction and the sharing of courseware and experiences.
➣To integrate the community around our schools so they too benefit from a school’s connection to the Internet.
➣To
promote distance education and on-line bridge building between
student communities that are involved with “A Tiny Shift In Connecting
Schools”
➣To form partnerships with local school boards and talent so that they build and own the network while we facilitate. | Our Goals
➢
Connect one school to the Internet. Then assist in ensuring the
people in the school and surrounding community have the knowledge,
expertise and ownership to use equipment and the Internet
effectively as long as the Internet exists. ➢Utilize
the experiences from the first school project to bring the Internet and
associated support to additional under-serviced schools and their
communities.
➢To have every school on the planet connected to the Internet.
Our Vision
➢ Improve our future through education with the positive use of computers, particularly, the Internet.
